Steam rollers are straight tubes with a large open carb at the far end, built to deliver a fast, hard, unrestricted hit. There is no diffusion or water — just a big chamber and a wide carb that clears instantly. Each is hand-blown from thick premium borosilicate glass in our Kathmandu workshop.

A straight cylindrical glass tube with the bowl on top and a large open carb hole at the opposite end. You cover the end carb to fill the chamber, then release it to clear the whole hit at once.
A steam roller has a much larger chamber and a bigger end carb, so it delivers a fast, high-volume hit. A chillum or spoon is smaller and gives a more controlled draw.
