Our glass bee pipes are hand-sculpted little bees fused onto a working bowl and mouthpiece — a functional pipe first and a charming collectible second. Each bee is hand-blown from premium borosilicate glass in our Kathmandu workshop, with striped bodywork and delicate wings shaped entirely by hand.

Yes. The bee is sculpted onto a real working bowl and mouthpiece, so it smokes like any dry pipe. The bee is the decoration; the function comes first.
The classic yellow-and-black striped body, with translucent wings. We use colored borosilicate rod and frit fused into the glass — not paint — so the colors never chip or fade.

They are thin sculpted glass, so they need gentler handling than a plain pipe. We fuse them firmly to the body, but the bee is best treated as a display-friendly piece, not pocket carry.
Soak the bowl and air path in isopropyl alcohol and salt and rinse; wipe the sculpted bee body by hand. Avoid forcing brushes past the wings or legs.
